Clapton in Pyongyang?

Legendary rocker Eric Clapton might become the first Western musician to play in the reclusive communist state of North Korea.
Apparently, Clapton has been invited to perform in the capital, Pyongyang, in 2009.
An official at the British Embassy in North Korea confirmed the news, saying it is “a good opportunity for Western music to be understood better by Koreans”.
Meanwhile, it turns out eating beef is a crime in North Korea. So I hope this is the last time I read about North Korea in the Arts section of the newspaper.
